Vegetable Stuffed Round Steak

3 lbs. round steak cut thin
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 cup  flour
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1/4 cup shredded carrots
1/3 cup chopped celery
2 tablespoons minced onion
1 4-oz. can mushroom pieces
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 cup beef broth
1 tablespoon catsup
Pinch sugar


Remove bone from steak; cut steak in 6 Strips. Combine salt and flour; pound into meat. Mix together green pepper, carrots, celery, onion, mushroom pieces and salt. Divide evenly and spread filling over half of each meat strip. Roll up meat. Tie with string. Heat skillet 3 minutes. Add oil; brown meat on all sides, about 5 minute; Add broth, catsup and sugar; cover. Simmer 1 hour or until meat is tender.

Gravey
1 cup beef broth
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup cold water

Add beef broth to skillet; bring to boil. Make a paste of cold water and flour. Add to skillet, stirring constantly. Simmer 10 minutes; stir occasionally. Makes 1 cup gravy.
